Advise regular use of a breathing exercise routine lasting 20 to 25 minutes two or three times a day in the initial period. (This commitment can be reduced as the patient’s condition improves.)
Suggest ways of encouraging nasal breathing during sleep.
Gradually increase amount of physical exercise accompanied by breath control.
Pay attention to diet as necessary.
